Our Story

Miles From Nowhere

Miles From Nowhere was founded in 2005 by the Tate family, who began by growing fruit across their two Margaret River properties. Since then, the label has become well-loved and widely recognised, earning a loyal following across Australia.

Greenpiper Wines

Greenpiper Wines acquired the Miles From Nowhere brand at the end of 2025, marking a natural next step in a long-standing relationship. As longstanding suppliers of both fruit and finished wine to the brand, it is one we know well.

With the same unwavering commitment to excellence, our priority is to preserve and strengthen the wines customers already know and trust, while continuing to expand the brand’s presence and opportunities in the market.

Across the Greenpiper Wines portfolio, this dedication to quality has recently been recognised on the national stage, with six trophies and eighteen gold medals awarded in 2025.

We are stepping into an exciting new chapter and look forward to building on this momentum in the year ahead.
